Then I started having fun with beads (sand) and fabric (fiber).
Sand Fibers was born in August 2005 as an umbrella under which I (Carol Dean Sharpe) could sell my jewelry and any quilting I might manage to get done. I now have beaded jewelry and fabric bowls at The Painted Door in El Paso, TX, jewelry at the Unravel Yarn Shop and Gallery in Las Cruces, NM, and fabric creations (bowls and cuffs) at the Laughing at the Sun gallery in Mesilla, NM. Some of my jewelry is also featured at maxellas.com.
On Saturday, and some Wednesday, mornings, I can be found peddling my wares at the Las Cruces Farmers Market. I'm having fun . . .
